Jordy Tamagotchi

Based on the NINIZ mascot of the same name, the Jordy Tamagotchi is the first Korean-exclusive device!

When you first turn it on and set the time, you’ll get to see Jordy defrosting from a glacier. After this, the upkeep itself is standard as far as Tamagotchi Nanos go. Feeding, playing with, and cleaning up after Jordy is all done through simple menus accessed with the A button The biggest difference here is the lifecycle.

There are six different games you can play with Jordy. Rather than growth being affected by care given, Jordy can get one of several part-time jobs depending on which games you play with him. He isn’t locked in to a part-time job, and which one he has can continue to change as you play  if he’s neglected too much, he can even lose this job and return to his base form. After 72 hours, you’ll be presented with an end screen showing Jordy at his new full-time job. What he ends up with depends on his part-time job at his time of departure.

I really, really love this one. The minty-green shell is really nice to look at, and the life-cycle is really unique.  Jordy is also a really cute character and super-animated. New animations trigger frequently and each different part-time job he takes on gives him a new idle animation.

The cost of importing one is probably the biggest factor that will keep people from playing with it, which is a shame considering it's a really unique and fun model. If you’re a collector or can look past the price point for a Nano, you won’t be disappointed with this Tamagotchi.
